Field of application

The balaclava is in combination with an arc protection face shield part of personnel protective equipment to protect against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. Wearing the Balaclava under other types of face shield increases the head protection by providing 360 degree protection of head. When combining Balaclava and face shield always the lower arc rating of the individual products determines the protection level of the combination
